Jewelry Fabricating and Jewelry Casting, in which students learn basic skills for making jewelry, functional hollowware and sculpture, are offered at the beginning level. More advanced techniques are taught in Enameling, Metalsmithing, Advanced Jewelry and Graduate level courses.

Students are challenged to develop their personal aesthetic while exploring and building a repertoire of techniques. Advanced students are taught professional practices such as photographing their work, writing resumes and artist’s statements, and approaching galleries.
