Although students will eventually specialize in one particular genre, the Writing Program is designed to give students the ability to practice in all areas of writing, both creative and utilitarian. The core course of Creative Writing and Advanced Composition reaffirm this philosophy to prepare students for careers in artistic endeavors and a wide variety of professional walks of life that require, at their core, exceptionally strong writing skills and analytic abilities.
