The James F. Drane Lecture Series

A primary goal of the James F. Drane Bioethics Institute is to contribute to the currently thriving discipline of bioethics in the USA and in the world. We will accomplish our goal through education, research, and advocacy.

The James F. Drane Lecture Series is an annual event in which prominent bioethics scholars and leaders in the field of bioethics give lectures at Edinboro University on various important topics in bioethics. These lectures, in addition to providing ethical insight, knowledge, and leadership, honor the legacy of Professor James F. Drane as one of the founders of the discipline of bioethics.
