The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts the accounting field will grow faster than most occupations over the next 10 years due to the continuous growth of our economy.

The Accounting program at Edinboro is one of the best in the region. Small classes are taught by faculty with professional experience. Your professors will help you acquire an in-depth understanding of accounting and auditing theory and practices and guide you toward internships that give you real-world training. Our rigorous curriculum is supported by core courses that help you develop the analytical reasoning, critical thinking and communication skills that are desirable in the workplace.

You will graduate well prepared to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination in Pennsylvania and accept a position in public accounting, corporate accounting or governmental auditing. You may get a position as an accountant, financial analyst or financial manager upon graduation.
