If you’re interested in a career as a personal financial planner, wealth manager or investment advisor, Edinboro’s Personal Financial Planning program is the place to start. Our program is registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. That means you’ll have the educational requirements necessary to sit for the CFP exam.

In the School of Business at Edinboro University, you’ll learn in small classes taught by faculty with professional experience. They will help you gain a sound understanding of topics like money and banking, investment analysis and federal income tax regulations. They will also provide insight into the diversified functions of business, from accounting and economics to finance, marketing and business law.

After passing your certification exam, you’ll be ready to help individuals make educated financial decisions on a wide range of topics, from mortgages and insurance to college and estate planning, taxes and retirement.
