The Baccalaureate Social Work Program at Edinboro University is designed to prepare graduates with the knowledge, values and skills for competent and effective beginning-level generalist social work practice and for a commitment to social and economic justice, cultural competency, advocacy for oppressed and at-risk populations, lifelong learning, and active participation, contributions, and leadership in the larger community.
Edinboro University's Master of Social Work program prepares graduates to work in a wide range of practice settings. These include family-based and mental health agencies, addiction treatment centers, schools, medical and psychiatric facilities, rehabilitation and correctional facilities, hospitals, veterans' agencies, foster care and adoption agencies, nursing homes, policy settings, within the military, and in private practice.
