          Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK)



          Obtain an English teaching position in South Korea (all expenses paid) and earn a M.Ed. in Middle/Secondary Instruction with an International Education focus in one year! Opportunities are available through a collaboration between Edinboro University and the National Institute for International Education in Korea.

          Teach English in Korea

          Required curriculum (30 credit hours):

          SEDU702 Teaching in the Contemporary Multicultural Classroom (3 credit hours)

          SEDU731 Applications of Technology Integration in Education (3 credit hours)

          SPED710 Seminar in Exceptionalities (3 credit hours)

          SEDU786 Secondary and Middle School Curriculum (3 credit hours)

          EDUC788 Research in Education (3 credit hours)

          SEDU692 Seminar in Teaching Adolescents (3 credit hours)

          SEDU797 Action Research (3 credit hours) (Non-thesis option) OR SEDU799 Thesis (3 credit hours) (Thesis option)

          SEDU790 International Education Internship I (3 credit hours)

          SEDU791 International Education Internship II (6 credit hours)

          Application requirements:

          Individuals seeking admission as degree students in this program must comply with the general admission requirements for graduate students at Edinboro University and with the following specific admission requirements for this program:

          1. Complete the online application.
          2. Pay an application fee of $30 (if non EUP student), or $7 (if EUP student).
          3. Provide an official transcript verifying an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (not needed if EUP graduate).
          4. Have a minimum 2.8 overall undergraduate QPA.
