School of Education
Dr. Erinn Lake
Clearances are an essential part of any education program because students will be working directly with minors, who are protected under federal law. The list of clearances and forms below are required by all students in the School of Education to be filled out and submitted by the end of their first year. The clearances must then be updated before student teaching during their last year.
The results of all clearances must be submitted to the School of Education Office in 140 Butterfield Hall. Please do not submit anything until you have all clearances. Bring originals and one copy to turn in at the time of submission. Keep your originals in a safe and accessible location to efficiently satisfy the various requirements of the University and K-12 school districts. Students not complying with this requirement will not be permitted to participate in clearance-required courses.
Please note that all teacher candidates must re-apply for clearances the semester before Student Teaching.
