Department of Counseling, School Psychology, and Special Education
Dr. Joel Erion
On top of the excellent resources that the School of Education provides for all of its students, a few facilities are designed specifically for individual programs and departments. One of these is Room 226 in Butterfield Hall, which is used primarily by students in the Department of Counseling, School Psychology and Special Education.
Known as the clinical suite, this space is used by students to conduct interviews, hold focus groups, and observe/record sessions with subjects as they learn about and apply material from class. The suite has four smaller rooms where interviews and testing is conducted and one larger observational space that includes a large table to seat several people and a two-sided mirror so that students may observe focus groups or group sessions.
