          Next Steps for Accepted Students

          You’re just a few steps away from becoming a Fighting Scot!

          CONGRATULATIONS once again on being admitted to Edinboro University. Please review the following five steps to complete your enrollment at EU.

          Step 1 – Confirm your enrollment

          In order to accept this offer of admission to Edinboro University, we ask that you confirm your acceptance by submitting a non-refundable $100 advanced tuition deposit no later than May 1, 2016. The $100 advanced tuition deposit will be applied to your account and deducted from your bill, but is non-refundable if you do not enroll at the University for any reason.

          You may submit your deposit via:

          Online

          You may pay the $100 advanced tuition deposit online by logging on to MyEdinboro and clicking on "eBill." Please note: Instructions for logging on to MyEdinboro were sent approximately one week after receiving your enrollment guide.

          Credit Card

          Pay with your credit card over the phone with the Office of the Bursar at (814) 732-5555, ext. 2

          Mail

          Please mail your $100 check or money order to:

          Edinboro University
          Office of the Bursar
          Hamilton Hall
          210 Glasgow Road
          Edinboro, PA 16444

          Checks should be made payable to Edinboro University. Please include your name and student ID number (referenced in your enrollment guide) on all checks or money orders.

          Step 2 – File your FAFSA

          File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. If you do not have your income tax information for 2015, you can use estimates and then go back in later to make any changes. Be sure to file early as your FAFSA information could determine your eligibility for additional scholarships and grants (that's free money)! Edinboro University’s FAFSA code is 003321.

          If you are a Pennsylvania resident, you will also want to file an application for a PHEAA state grant at pheaa.org. This is a separate application and needs to be filed by May 1, 2016.

          For Ohio residents, a portion of your Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) can be used in Pennsylvania. Please visit www.ohiohighered.org/ocog for more details.

          Step 3 – On-Campus Housing

          EU offers state-of-the-art on-campus housing options in our suite and semi-suite Highlands complex. Six different suite styles and Living Learning Community options make EU’s on-campus housing the premier choice for our students. Living on campus affords our students the true Edinboro Experience with their academic and extracurricular life just steps away!

          Once you have paid your $100 advanced tuition deposit, information on how to register for on-campus housing will be mailed to you.

          Step 4 – New Student Orientation

          These sessions will take place in May, June, July or August. New Student Orientation is designed to help you prepare for college life at EU, and gives you the opportunity to review and build your fall semester schedule, meet with faculty and Academic Success Coordinators and much more!

          During New Student Orientation, you can expect to:

          • Meet your future classmates, faculty, and staff;
          • Learn more about Edinboro University, your academic program, and your degree requirements;
          • Complete any necessary placement exams in mathematics and/or English if you're unable to take them prior to your orientation date;
          • Receive your student ID;
          • Begin your successful transition to the University and have fun!

          To register for New Student Orientation:

          1. Log into the myEdinboro Portal with your username and password. (This information was sent to you in your acceptance letter).
          2. Once you are logged into myEdinboro, please click on the Orientation icon from the myEdinboro LaunchPad to choose your Orientation date. Please consider registering for an early orientation date, as space is limited, and the spots fill quickly.
          3. Please enter the name(s) of your guest(s), if applicable.
          4. A letter of confirmation and additional information will be mailed to you closer to your New Student Orientation date.
          5. If you need to change your New Student Orientation date, after submitting the online registration form, please contact the Admissions Office at 1-888-8GO-BORO so we may assist you.

          Step 5 – Welcome Week!

          This four-day event in late August marks the official start of the school year. During Welcome Week, you'll meet the rest of the incoming class and formally join the EU family! On-campus residents will move into their residence hall but all new students are invited to make new friends, get to know campus and the local community, and find their fit among more than 100 student clubs and organizations. You will receive additional information as we get closer to Welcome Week.

          If you have any further questions about the enrollment process or Edinboro in general, please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Office. I am looking forward to having you join us this fall!

          Sincerely,
          Dr. William Edmonds
