PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Students are given the opportunity to:
- gain an applied knowledge of the software
development life cycle through the principles of
systems analysis;
- acquire the skills necessary to produce solutions
to business-related problems using a structured
high-level language;
- install various application software systems on,
and become knowledgeable about and proficient with,
microcomputers and microcomputer systems;
- apply the principles of database management
systems to software development;
- incorporate curriculum knowledge in the working
environment through an internship program.
