POSITION TITLE AND NUMBER: Assistant Football Coach - Defensive Line (Position #35011684) POSITION DESCRIPTION: NCAA Division II; Regular, Full-time RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist head coach implementing a competitive NCAA Division II program and all phases of recruiting, organizing, budgeting, managing, planning and travel arrangements; assist in defensive game plans and coaching the defensive line; assist with the in-season and out-of-season player development; assist in fund-raising efforts; promote good public relations; perform other athletic related duties as assigned. Duties are performed within the framework of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the PA State Athletic Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required; coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred; knowledge of current defensive techniques required; thorough knowledge of NCAA rules required; demonstrated excellent inter- personal, oral and written communication skills required; finalists will be required to successfully complete an interview and/or demonstration; successful candidate must be able to pass the NCAA recruiting test.
