A Special Message for Edinboro University’s Undeclared Students

As Academic Advisors to all undeclared students on our campus, we are very pleased to assist you as you move toward a successful future.  Whether you are just confused about majors and careers or taking steps toward the major of your choice, rest assured that undeclared status is a very common temporary path for many Edinboro students of all ages and backgrounds. More than 20% of each year’s freshman class is comprised of undeclared students.

We are seasoned advisors, having worked here at Edinboro University for many years. We are knowledgeable about all of the majors on campus and are connected with faculty in departments across campus. Consultation with your undeclared advisor is suggested for any or all of the following issues:

  • Scheduling classes
  • Priority scheduling
  • Dropping, adding, or withdrawing from classes
  • Midterm grades
  • Changing/declaring your major
  • Unsatisfactory academic work
  • Withdrawal from EUP
  • Referrals for academic or personal problems
  • Career planning
  • Questions about Internships & graduate study
We invite you to meet with us in the Academic Success Center on the 2nd floor of the Baron-Forness Library. You can sign up for advising on the schedules posted on our office doors:

Dr. Carol Gleichsner in 216-B, or email
Dr. Elizabeth Iglesias in 216-A, or email:

We look forward to working with you as you journey to your future major at Edinboro University!
