Edinboro University is proud to announce a new
online RN to BSN program beginning Fall 2008!
Admissions Requirements
- 1. Proof of graduation from a nursing program leading to an RN
- 2. Proof of a current RN licensure
- 3. Official copies of transcripts from high school and all post-secondary schools attended.
- 4. The following prerequisites must be completed prior to the start of the program:
College Writing Skills Human Physiology & Anatomy I
General Psychology Human Physiology & Anatomy II
General Chemistry Microbiology
Finite Math
Program Highlights
- The on-line RN-BSN program provides students with education in the areas of community/public health nursing, nursing leadership and management, and applications of nursing research and evidence-based care.
- In recognition of nursing courses taken during a pre-licensure program, 40 credits will be awarded toward the 120 credit degree program requirement. Additionally, all courses taken at previously attended institutions will be evaluated for transfer credit.
- The Edinboro University Department of Nursing has received accreditation for the baccalaureate nursing program from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- The Nursing Department currently includes 20 faculty members and more than 300 students.
