ABOUT THE PRE-DENTISTRY PROGRAM
Edinboro University offers a course of study in liberal arts and sciences to prepare students for admission to schools of dentistry. Though admission requirements for professional schools vary, the program at Edinboro University can be tailored to meet the requirements for any school.
Each student is assigned an advisor who provides information and guidance concerning curriculum and course selection on an individualized basis. In addition, the student's advisor provides information on application procedures, deadlines, and recommendation format to the student when applying to professional schools.
Since most students entering the program select biology as a major, the curriculum is designed to progress toward the bachelor of science in this discipline. However, non-biology majors can benefit from the program with slight adjustments to their curriculum.
