Minor in Economics
The Business & Economics department offers a minor in Economics to provide students recognition for concentrated study in this area. This minor is appropriate for both business and non-business majors that wish to develop their expertise in economic theory and application.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR IN ECONOMICS
There are no prerequisite requirements for beginning a minor in economics and the curriculum requirements are as follows.
A. Required Courses (9 credits)
ECON215: Principles of Economics: Macro
ECON220: Principles of Economics: Micro
MATH105: College Algebra (or higher level mathenatics substitute)
B. Electives (12 credits)
Any ECON prefix courses at the 310 level or higher.
TOTAL: 21 credits
