Edinboro’s Athletic Facilities Provide for a Variety of Recreational and Athletic Options

Although primary use of athletic facilties is dedicated to Athletics' sports programs for practice and competition, these venues are available for organizaions and groups not affiliated with the University. Please contact Bruce Baumgartner, the Athletic Director, for more information on availability and scheduling.


McComb Fieldhouse

Sox Harrison Stadium

Equipped with an artificial turf field, lighting, press boxes on both sides of the stadium, locker rooms, a training room, and seating for 6,000 between its two grandstands, Sox Harrison Stadium provides the necessities for competition and general events.Additionally, the stadium doubles as a track and field venue with its 6-lane track, long and triple jump runways/pits, pole vault runway, high jump pit, and throwing rings.


Mike S. Zafirovski Sports and Recreation Center
("Z" Dome)

The Mike S. Zafirovski Sports and Recreation Center is an air supported structure that houses four, full-length basketball courts and serves as an indoor track and field facility. Available for year-round reservation with 85,000 sq. ft., the “Z” Dome has the space and necessary equipment to host track meets, basketball tournaments, and even large recreational events.
