Timothy Neal Thompson, Ph.D. is a professor of Communication & Media Studies and director of the Edinboro Highland Games at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He teaches organizational communication, advertising, conflict management, consulting, and psychology of communication. Tim has written and consulted in the areas of communication, creativity, conflict, and team-building. On a recent sabbatical he wrote a book entitled Creative Communication: Social Systems Making Mind. He completed his doctorate in organizational communication and innovation from Bowling Green State University in 1986. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tim and his wife Dee Dee now reside in Edinboro with their five children.
