What is the Edinboro University Foundation?
The Edinboro University Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established to provide support solely for the mission of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and its students, faculty, and staff.
As a private organization, the Foundation may invest in the full stock market and has a fiduciary responsibility to invest endowment and scholarship funds in a manner consistent with and responding to an ever-changing market. The Foundation's Finance and Investment Committee manages all donor contributions and invests in stocks, high grade bonds and other money funds as provided in the full market.
Because of a strong partnership between the Foundation and University, your gifts and support have made a tremendous difference across campus. The Edinboro University Foundation exists to promote the betterment and welfare of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, its students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
How will my contribution be used?
The exceptional faculty, programs, and services at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania reflect a continuing commitment to quality education. Private gift support is the fundamental difference that allows Edinboro University to remain one of Pennsylvania's premiere public educational institutions.
There are many gift opportunities, including endowed scholarships, facility naming opportunities, capital campaign, as well as unrestricted donations to support programs that may otherwise not exist.
STUDENT ENDOWMENTS - No single area of growth will more positively impact the future of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania than the growth of its endowment for its Scholarship Program and the increased availability of scholarships for its students. Edinboro's growing endowments enable students to pursue an academic course of study while overcoming financial barriers precluding educational achievement.
BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE - The restoration of Academy Hall and The Crawford Center for Health and Physical Education and Disability Resources are two examples of campus buildings that more than just facilities for teaching and learning. They are the core of the University's identity. Investing in these structures is investing in the academic mission of Edinboro University that also demonstrates pride in our campus and our region.
CULTURAL ENDOWMENTS - The Cultural Endowment Program promotes the active expansion of the University's renowned music and arts programs. We are dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential by offering a supportive learning environment and encouraging our students toward a high level of accomplishment as artists and scholars.
