Recognizing H1N1 symptoms

The H1N1 flu symptoms are similar to those of regular seasonal flu. They include fever (usually 100 degrees or higher), coughing, sore throat, body aches, mild headaches, chills and fatigue, and runny nose and/or nasal congestion. In some H1N1 flu cases, symptoms can include diarrhea and vomiting. In severe cases of the illness, pneumonia, respiratory failure and deaths can occur, just like seasonal influenza. And, just like the seasonal flu, H1N1 might cause the worsening of existing medical conditions.
