Graduate Professional Development Program (GPDP)

The Graduate Professional Development Program (GPDP) is making funds available for graduate students professional development grants. The grants are intended to help students in scholarly activity and in the presentation of papers at meetings or conferences during the fall and spring semesters. The grants can be used only to defray registration, transportation, and lodging costs. An application for funding requires a presentation of documentation to the committee. Applications are looked at upon favorably when the student has taken time to find alternative funding sources, research available economy fares, and is willing to car pool. Travel within 500 miles of Edinboro is commonly funded at ground transportation rates only. Students are encouraged to travel together by car or van to save on individual costs. Please keep in mind that funding is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
