RN to BSN Program
Registering for your classes online is quick and easy! Just follow these steps:
Go to the My.Edinboro Portal
Enter your user name (first half of your Edinboro email address, jD12345@scots.edinboro.edu, your user name would be JD12345)
Enter your password (provided to you when activating your Edinboro email address in SCOTS). If you need to activate your email please follow the directions below.
If prompted Accept or Decline Edinboro University's Network terms and conditions
If prompted answer the four security questions
Click on the SCOTS logo (red flag with white E in the top left of your screen)
Click on "Student Services & Financial Aid" then select "Registration".
Click on "Select Term" and select appropriate term (e.g. Fall 2010), hit "Submit".
Click on "Add/Drop Classes".
When prompted, enter "Alternate Pin #" - which is always 999999
To locate your classes in SCOTS, move on to step # 10. Do not type your course numbers in the available boxes you just need to click on "Class Search".
You only need to modify "Subject", "Campus", and "Course Level" fields; then click on "Class Search" tab.
Place a check mark in the appropriate box (far left), click "Register". A "C"in place of the box means the course is closed, you will need to contact your advisor or the program head for a possible override in the course. A "SR" in place of the box means the course is reserved for specific majors, you will need permission from the professor and the program head inorder to enter this course.
Finally, click on the "Submit Changes" tab to complete the registration process.
If you have not activated your EUP email account
Go to www.edinboro.edu
Enter SCOTS in the search box in the top right of the page
Enter your student id (@00000000)
Enter your pin (if this is the first time accessing enter MMDDYY of your birthdate)
Click on Personal Account Information
Click on the red link "View your email and network account information"
Print this screen or save the information as this is your username and password to access My.Edinboro
If enrolling in an online course(s), please access your course(s) on the specific semester start date. Go to www.euponline.com and follow the login instructions posted there. To receive course information you will need to access your Edinboro student email account.**Some or all of your online courses will be available in a 7-week format, which allows students to take two courses sequentially for half a semester each rather than taking two courses simultaneously throughout the semester. We strongly advise against registering for two classes that have to be completed in only half a semester. Please pay close attention to your online course start and end dates in SCOTS.
***If all scheduling criteria are not met, you may receive error messages in SCOTS. Please contact your advisor as soon as possible (contact information appears on a link on the previous page) if you receive a pre-requisite or major error.
