On behalf of the Student Government Association and Edinboro University, it is a pleasure to greet you as the 2013-2014 Academic Year begins. Please read this edition of the Student Handbook, giving special attention to the varied learning and leadership development opportunities available to students. As you refine your goals and plans throughout the year, you will begin to develop your many talents, skills and interests. Please plan to make time for your out-of-classroom experiences.

When you are engaged and involved in university life, your learning will be enhanced and the quality of your experience will become better, preparing you for your career and leadership in your future. A commitment to participate actively in clubs and organizations, athletic events, performances and campus events will give you an even higher quality experience here at Edinboro.

The expectations shared by all members of this community are clearly stated in the Student Handbook. Policies and regulations should be read carefully. All students -- undergraduate and graduate, full or part time -- are expected to understand and follow these guidelines whether on or off campus as ambassadors of our university.

Have a wonderful semester, and remember, "Great Things Happen Here!"

Sincerely,

Andre Roberts
President, EUSGA, Inc.
