Located to the left as you enter the library, the Circulation Desk is responsible for the circulation of all library materials, including course reserves.

Our hours of operation vary during holidays and between semesters. Please call the Circulation Desk if you wish to visit us at those times.
Fall and Spring Semesters
Monday - Thursday...........8 am - midnight

Saturday ............................9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday...............................1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Summer Sessions
Monday - Thursday..............8 am - 10 pm

LOAN PERIODS
For books, the loan periods are as follows:
Undergraduate Students and Area Residents..........3 weeks
Graduate Students, Faculty and Staff..........................3 months

BORROWING
- YOU MUST HAVE UNIVERSITY ID TO CHECKOUT MATERIALS.
- Patrons are responsible for due dates.
- Area Residents
a. Residents of Erie, Crawford and Warren Counties over the age of 18 are eligible.
b. Present a valid Driver's License or state issued ID with a current home address.
c. No fee.

The Baron-Forness Library is governed by Pennsylvania Act 1984-90, Section 428 Library Circulation Records, which states, "Records related to the circulation of library materials which contain the names or other personally identifying details regarding the users of the State Library or any other local library which is established or maintained under any law of the Commonwealth or the library of any university, college, or educational institution chartered by the Commonwealth or the library of any public school or branch reading room, deposit station or agency operated in connection therewith, shall be confidential and shall not be made available to anyone except by a court order in a criminal proceeding."

RENEWALS
- Items may be renewed online or by telephone 24-hours a day by calling 732-2273.
- Patrons are responsible for due dates.

- Responsible for your due date
- All fines are non-refundable
- 1 week Grace Period
- $0.15 per day per item (Retroactive after Grace Period if books are not renewed or returned)

1st - 1 week before due date as a courtesy reminder
2nd - Day after due date
After 37 days, item(s) automatically go to "Lost" status
3 months of "Lost" status, account is transferred to Accounting Office
