Golden Apple Award
The GOLDEN APPLE AWARD program is a tradition at JET-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. Edinboro University is partnering with JET-TV to honor area educators who have made a positive impact upon the youth of our community.
Students submit written nominations explaining why they are nominating a teacher. And, each week during the school year, JET-TV visits an area school to announce the winner. Every Wednesday, the weekly winner is featured in a special story on Action News24 at 6:00 p.m., and the story airs again on Thursday mornings on Action News 24 between 5:30 and 7:00 a.m.
