Erik Mann has taught classical guitar for Edinboro University since 2005 and for the Cleveland Institute of Music since 2004. He has headed the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society since 2009, during which time it has experienced an unprecedented level of growth. The CCGS now presents performers from around the world and provides free instruction for over 150 high school students.
Mr. Mann has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Glimmerglass Opera, Erie Philharmonic and Erie Chamber Orchestra. He can regularly be seen performing solo and with various ensembles including the Edinboro University Chamber Players. He studied extensively with Jason Vieaux, John Holmquist and Ronald Pearl, and in master classes with the Assads, the L.A. Guitar Quartet, David Russell, and many others.
