Kenneth Piatt maintains a busy schedule as both a performer and a teacher throughout the Northeast Ohio and Southwest Pennsylvania areas. He is currently the Trumpet Professor at Edinboro University, a position he has held since the fall of 2012. Mr. Piatt served as applied faculty at Stivers School for the Arts in Dayton, Ohio during his doctoral work, and taught undergraduate students at Ohio University whilst earning his Masters degree. As well, Kenneth teaches privately in the Youngstown, Ohio area.?
?Mr. Piatt has performed with many professional orchestras, including the Dayton Philharmonic, the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and the River Cities Symphony. For two years, Kenneth was a member of the Ohio University faculty brass quintet, OhioBrass. He has been a featured soloist for the W.D. Packard Band in Warren, Ohio, many high school groups, and was a semi-finalist for two years in the graduate division of the National Trumpet Competition.
