New On-line RN-to-BSN program

This new on-line program provides students with study in the areas of community/public health, nursing leadership and management, and applications of nursing research and evidence-based care.

  Graduate Certificate in Palliative & End of Life Care

This 15 credit graduate certificate will prepare the student for leadership roles in healthcare agencies providing end of life care.  The program can be completed in 12 months of part-time study.

New Simulation Lab

Nursing's Human Patient Simulation is in its temporary home of 116 Wiley Arts and Sciences Building until it moves into its permanent home in the Human Services Building in January, 2011.
This simulation lab allows for simulation of clinical situations with adults, children, maternity patients and newborns in a safe setting. 
Faculty and students are use the laboratory to improve critical thinking and decision making skills.

 

  

New Building 

Nursing will be moving to a new building within the next two years.  This building will include a state-of-the-art simulation laboratory, computer lab, skills lab, classroom and offices.
