Mission Statement

The mission of the Professional Development Schools  (PDS) partnership between Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and participating schools is to increase student learning by developing a collaborative relationship aimed at the growth of University faculty, practicing teachers, teacher candidates, and school administrators to facilitate the achievement of students and increase parent/guardian and community involvement.


Belief Statements:

  • Collaboration is desirable at all levels for continued professional development

  • Early and ongoing clinical experiences for University students is essential to developing effective educators

  • Parents/guardians and community involvement is essential to students success
