Enrollment Verification or Academic Information

Verification of enrollment or other academic information may be needed for many reasons such as insurance benefits, loan deferment requests, or employment.

Self-service enrollment verifications are available on-line in a format that is generally acceptable for health insurance or loan providers.  The verification includes the enrollment term dates and indicates full-time or part-time status.  Printing your enrollment certificate from the web means that you won't need to request verification from the University.  Previous enrollment terms are always available.  Enrollment verification for the fall 2008 semester is available.  Enrollment information is updated periodically throughout the semester.

The following instructions may be helpful.

  1. Go to Edinboro's Homepage

  2. Type S.C.O.T.S. in Keyword Search.

  3. Click Self-Service Enrollment Verification from the list under S.C.O.T.S.

  4. Click Link to National Student Clearinghouse

  5. Log in using your current Edinboro student email address and password.       

    a.  Username (complete student email address).  First initial of your first name, last six digits of your ID number and first initial of your last name plus edinboro.edu  (j123456d@edinboro.edu)

    b. Password:  Originally, your password was your birth date (mmddyy).  The first time you used the Edinboro network or email, you were required to change your password.

  6. Enter Name, Date of Birth and SSN.      

  7. Click Login.

  8. Select "Current Enrollment" or "All Enrollment."

  9. Select "Obtain an Enrollment Certificate."

  10. Print the information on the screen by choosing the "Print" option on your browser.

  11. Present the enrollment certificate to your health insurer, lender, or whoever requires proof of your enrollment status.
