Sergeant First Class Bosco graduated from East Alton-Wood River High School in Wood River, Il in 1990 and Ranken Technical College in St. Louis, Mo in 1991. He enlisted in the Army in May, 1995 as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. His military education includes Warrior Leader’s Course, Advanced Leader’s Course, Senior Leader’s Course, Battle Staff Course, and Drill Sergeant School.
Sergeant First Class Bosco has served in a variety of assignments during his 17 years in the Army. During this time he had served in 1-8 Cavalry, Fort Hood, TX as Mortar Crew Member, Squad Leader and Training NCO; 2-9 Infantry, Camp Casey, Korea as a Squad Leader and FDC Check Computer; 1-16 Infantry, Fort Riley, KS as a Section Sergeant; 3-13 Infantry, Fort Jackson, South Carolina as a Drill Sergeant; 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division,Military Transition Team as an Military Intelligence Advisor; and 4-10 Cavalry, Fort Carson, CO as a Mortar Section Leader and Troop First Sergeant. He had deployed to Bosnia in 1998, Iraq 2003, 2008, and 2010.
