Fitness Classes - Spring Semester 2013
THE FITNESS CLASS SCHEDULE WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH
FIT-N_FIRM (Studio B)
Tuesday/Thursday with Mary - 5:30pm-6:30pm
Fit-n-Firm is designed to firm and define your muscles while cranking up your metabolism so you will keep burning calories for 24 to 48 hours after the class. A variety of exercises choreographed to music using body weight and light dumbbells. Personal water bottle recommended.
POWER YOGA (Studio B)
Monday/Wednesday with Mary - 5:30pm-6:30pm
This class will strengthen your muscles and significantly improve flexibility using a variety of yoga postures. The class closes with de-stressing and relaxation techniques to help you cope with your daily challenges. Advanced power moves can be modified to accommodate all levels of fitness. Water bottle recommended.
PiYo™ STRENGTH (Studio B)
Thursday with Kaiti - 4:15pm-5:15pm
PiYo™ is a unique class designed to build strength & gain flexibility. The moves fit perfectly together to form a class filled with intense choreography that’s fun, challenging and will make you sweat. It’s about energy, power, and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength, and greater stability. Appropriate for all skill levels, and NO previous experience is required! Just come and have fun!
BOOT CAMP (Gymnasium B)
Monday/Wednesday with Kaiti - 8:30pm-9:30pm
Boot Camp workout is a total body conditioning workout designed to increase your overall stamina. It will work the upper body, lower body, and core. It’s a great high intensity workout! Modifications are offered for all skill levels, and a personal water bottle is recommended. All fitness levels are welcome!
CARDIO CIRCUIT (Studio B)
Tuesday with Kaiti - 8:30pm-9:30pm
Cardio Intervals are a great way to combine cardio and strength in a short amount of time, and make for a great boredom buster workout! You will participate in some intense cardio moves for a few minutes then move into strength training for a few and so on. You will use a vast amount of different of muscle groups, within a 60 minute class! Appropriate for all skill levels and NO previous experience it required!
Monday with Danielle - 4:15pm-5:15pm in Gymnasium B
Tuesday with Danielle - 12:00pm-1:00pm in Studio B
Wednesday with Katy - 7:00pm-8:00pm in Gymnasium B
Friday with Katy - 5:00pm-6:00pm in Gymnasium B
Zumba® involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography can incorporate hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges may also be included in the class. Appropriate for all skill levels, and NO previous experience is required!
