Recycling Services

Technology and Communications has an arrangement with two vendors that can provide recycling services for most any electronic device.  Three or four times each year, we have a courier deliver a tractor trailer full of various electronic devices to one of the recycling centers where they either reuse the components they harvest from the old equipment or they thoroughly remove all hazardous materials from the devices prior to having them recycled.  If you have any electronic device that has no useful life remaining, please place a facilities work order to have the items picked up and delivered to Technology and Communications in Ross Hall.  Please note on the facilities work order that the equipment is to be recycled.  Please also note that you no longer have to complete a fixed asset form prior to having your equipment picked up for recycling.  Thank You!

A notice will be sent through the Weekly Messenger to inform the campus community when Technology & Communications can again accept items for electronics recycling.
