Information about Your EUP Accounts
WHAT IS MY EMAIL AND NETWORK ACCOUNT?
Network accounts are used to log a student onto University computers (classrooms, labs, and the library) and to log in at my.Edinboro.edu. Student email is hosted by Microsoft and is called Office 365. Office 365 is a suite of applications including Outlook Web App (OWA), Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SkyDrive and more and is accessible on most operating systems and devices.
HOW DO I ACCESS IT?
After logging in to my.Edinboro.edu, you access Office 365 and your email account by clicking on the “student email” link under the launch pad. Email addresses are created for students when they are accepted at Edinboro University. They consist of an 8 digit random username with '@scots.edinboro.edu' appended to the end of that username.

WHAT IS MY SCOTS ACCOUNT?
The Student Centered Online Transaction System (SCOTS) allows students to add to, change or view their schedule, view transcripts and grades, track progress, review financial aid requirements and awards and more.
HOW DO I ACCESS IT?
You access SCOTS through my.Edinboro.edu by clicking on the “SCOTS” icon under the launch pad.
IMPORTANT: Usernames & passwords are included in a separate acceptance letter that is mailed to all new students.
HOW CAN I MANAGE MY STUDENT PASSWORD?
To manage your password click, “Forgot/Expired/Change Password” at the my.Edinboro.edu login page and choose the option that best suits your need.

e2Campus Account - Edinboro University has added a state-of-the-art communication system called e2Campus to quickly notify individuals in case of emergencies, including weather-related events. Search “e2Campus” from the Edinboro home page.
WHAT IS MY EMPLOYEE NETWORK AND EMAIL ACCOUNT?
Your account consists of an "email address" and a "password". Email addresses are created for employees. They consist of an 8 digit username with '@edinboro.edu' appended to the end of that username. In most cases, except for common names, usernames consist of the employee's first initial plus their last name. If more than one username exists for a name, a middle initial may be used.
Example: John P. Worker
Username = JWorker
Email address = JWorker@edinboro.edu.
For the purposes of security, the structure of an employee's initial password will not be divulged on this publicly viewable page. If you are a new employee, please contact the Technology Help Center at (814) 732-2111 for assistance in accessing your account for the first time.
HOW DO I CHANGE OR MANAGE MY EMPLOYEE ACCOUNT PASSWORD?
It is a required to change your password every 90 days. You should also change it whenever you suspect that your password has been compromised.
ALL EMPLOYEES To manage your password or set up an alternative email so you can reset your own, go to my.edinboro.edu and click the “Forgot/Expired/Change Password” link. For further assistance, please contact the Technology Help Center at (814) 732-2111 for assistance in accessing your account for the first time.
DO I STILL HAVE ALUMNI EMAIL AND HOW DO I ACCESS IT OR RESET MY PASSWORD?
If you forget your email password go to http://login.live.com and click on the "Can’t access your account" link. You will be prompted to enter in your full Edinboro University email address and enter the characters shown on a graphic. Then, if you set up these options, you will be given the choice of sending an alternate email a password reset link or answer security questions. If neither of these work, try the “I can’t use any of these options” link where you will be prompted to fill out a questionnaire.
NOTE: Alumni retain their student email accounts, but no other accounts remain active for alumni.
