Parenting Program

This program is for students who are parents or are becoming parents and was created to help students stay in school throughout the pregnancy and after becoming parents. To enroll in the program, at least one parent must be a student. We encourage the student to have monthly appointments at the Health Center to make sure that the baby is receiving proper prenatal care and the student has the resources needed, such as OBGYN, hospital, day care and prenatal care.

Approximately one month prior to delivery of the baby, the students can receive a diaper bag, diapers, wipes, baby food, and a baby blanket and hat. Students can also receive food from our on-campus food pantry or visit the community food pantry located in Lawrence Towers on campus.

For more information or to enroll in the program, visit Ghering Health and Wellness Center or call 814-732-2743.
