However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos. The play was a success in its original language, French, and has been equally acclaimed in its other English-translated productions in both London and New York.

Tickets are free for Edinboro University students, $3 for faculty, staff, and President’s Pass holders, and $5 for general admission. The audience actually decides which way the action will go and, eventually, who killed Gordon Forrest. The unpopular Forrest is mysteriously murdered during a rehearsal of an old British thriller, Three Doors to Death. Plenty of people had good cause to wish him gone. Things heat up when the homicide detective appears and, with the audience to guide him, has the murder re-enacted. Before deciding which direction the plot will go, the audience is given clues, motives and suspects (the actors, director, cleaning woman–even the corpse!). The audience gets to decide, not only who the killer is, but how the story will end. Will the killer go to jail or be allowed to escape (and what an escape it will be!)?

The second half of the evening features a musical revue; director and singers' choices!

Tickets are free for Edinboro University students, $3 for faculty, staff, and President’s Pass holders, and $5 for general admission. In performance, translation, adaptation, along with sung and danced interpretations, it has been familiar in the Greek world and the Roman empire, and from the Renaissance to the contemporary stage. It has been central to the aesthetic and intellectual avant-garde as well as to radical politics of all complexions and to feminist thinking. Agamemnon begins after the fall of Troy. A beacon of light signals the defeat of Troy to all those in Argos, including Queen Clytaemnestra. With the memory of the sacrifice of her daughter Iphigeneia still burning, Clytaemnestra does not plan to welcome King Agamemnon home in a traditional manner.

Tickets are free for Edinboro University students, $5 for faculty, staff, and President’s Pass holders, and $10 for general admission. Working with rising comers like Brit Grammy winner Shola Ama or such legends as Redbone’s Ohio Players/P-Funk mentor Walter "Junie" Morrison, she and UK-bred partner Aaron Whitby consistently provide essential direction and soulful support to knit track and artist into an indelible whole.

Alongside her career as a recording artist and songwriter, Martha Redbone has maintained a steady involvement with causes she believes in utilizing her celebrity in Indian Country for fundraising and leadership. Ms. Redbone holds an annual Traditional Music Workshop within the United Houma Nation’s Cultural Enrichment Summer Camp program teaching grade school age children the music from her Choctaw and Cherokee heritage as well as incorporating the tribe’s own Houma-French language.

Martha has given talks on subjects ranging from Indigenous rights to the role of arts in politics at many institutions, including New York University and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and on Native Identity during the Native Theater Festival at the Public Theater in NYC. She is featured in NMAI’s current exhibit "Up Where We Belong - Native Americans in Popular Culture."

Ms. Redbone has also held workshops and given motivational talks with many grade school children throughout her touring on reservations at Red Lake, MN, Cherokee, NC, Yuma AZ and Menominee WI, to name a few.

Having served as an exemplary ambassador to Native and African-American Youth for the National HIV/Aids Partnership, which also included dedicating several morning TV appearances to the cause, Martha was awarded the Red Ribbon Award for Outstanding Leadership presented on World AIDS Day at the United Nations in 2005.
Fri, 14 Jun 2013 14:43:05 EDT 8c36357e-a0ab-44c5-ae1d-7ec0f55e1645 Homecoming http://www.edinboro.edu/permalink/662202/5532
Homecoming 2013, October 3-5.

Break Out the Plaid and get set for a bigger, better celebration!

It's still Homecoming, but it's more.
