Branding is used to clearly identify your products and differentiate them from other companies, and helps to clearly communicate what your businiess is about quickly and in a meaningful manner. This seminar will include topics on: What is marketing? How important is your name? How to register your brands and protect them. How to emphasize your brand in advertising, promotion and selling. How to use a client list to be more successful.

    QiQong and Meditation classes will be held on Wednesdays, August 29 through December 5, 11:00 a.m., in the Diebold Center for the Performing Arts, room 106. Sponsored by Edinboro University Theatre.

    QiQong can be described as "Chinese Yoga" and is an integration of rhythmic movements, breathing and spiritual intention that can create a balanced lifestyle and bring greater harmony, stability and enjoyment. These classes will be taught by Jenn Shepherd.

    Random Acts of Kindness in Edinboro (R.A.K.E)

    The smell of autumn is in the air and the leaves are falling, which means it’s also time for Edinboro University’s annual Random Acts of Kindness in Edinboro (R.A.K.E.) event where students rake the leaves from lawns of area residences. R.A.K.E. will be held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, which is also national Make a Difference Day. Edinboro University students will be raking and bagging fallen leaves at homes in the borough of Edinboro. Priority will be given to elderly and disabled residents. On the day of the event, staff members from the Edinboro University Community Outreach Center will set up a check-in station for student volunteers at the corner of Normal and Meadville Streets by the campus clock tower. The volunteers will be sent out in shifts from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m. to rake. Student volunteers are needed for both shifts. To sign up as a volunteer, call 814-732-1720 or visit the Community Outreach Center in 237 Pogue Student Center.
