Edinboro University’s Baron-Forness Library to hold used book sale April 12 and 13

National Library Week event


EDINBORO, Pa. –Looking for bargains on books? Then look no further than the Edinboro University Baron-Forness Library!

On Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13, the Baron-Forness Library will sponsor and host a used book sale as part of National Library Week. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the library’s purchase of new materials.

First observed in 1958, National Library Week is a national celebration sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the nation during the second full week of each April.

As part of the celebration, the Baron-Forness Library will offer a variety of books and movies available for sale with a starting price of  just 25 cents! The library will make available for purchase a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction titles in both hardback and paperback, as well as a wide range of VHS and DVD-formatted films.

The sale will take place on the first floor of the library from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each day. For more information, contact the Baron-Forness Library at 814-732-2273.
