Lyons Den Productions announces NW Pa. film premiere dates at Edinboro University

There Are No Goodbyes MovieEDINBORO, Pa. – Lyons Den Productions, in cooperation with the Edinboro University Alumni Relations Office, Student Government Association, and Edinboro Film Series, has announced the Northwestern Pennsylvania premiere of the feature film, “There Are No Goodbyes” April 19 and 20.

The two-night special event will be held in Edinboro University’s historic Louis C. Cole Auditorium-Memorial Hall. The actual premiere is set for Thursday, April 19, at 8 p.m., with an encore screening and Regional Filmmaker Showcase scheduled for the following night. A Question & Answer session with cast and crew members will follow the film each night.

According to “There Are No Goodbyes” writer/director John C. Lyons, “We screened our last film, “Schism,” at Edinboro University and 1,300 people attended. Many of us involved in this project are from the area, and most of the film was shot here as well, so these premiere events are a very big deal for us. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on the past couple of years!”

In addition to Erie and Pittsburgh, scenes from the film were also shot in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Ireland.

Pre-event ticket sales have begun at, Edinboro Film Series events, or are available by phone (will-call only) at 814-732-1048. Advance tickets are $5 per person each night, and $7 at the door. Lyons Den Productions DVDs and other merchandise will be available for purchase both nights in the Cole Auditorium lobby.

For the Thursday premiere, doors will open at 7 p.m., with the film at 8 p.m., followed by the cast/crew Q & A. For the Friday screening and Regional Filmmaker Showcase, the film will begin at 5 p.m.
