Alumni guitarists' concert set for Saturday

EDINBORO, Pa. - Alumni from the Music Department at Edinboro University will present a six-act concert beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.  The first four acts will be presented in the Dr. William P. Alexander Music Center Recital Hall with the final two acts to follow at Louis C. Cole Auditorium - Memorial Hall. 

Performers are all alumni from the guitar program at Edinboro.  Music majors are required to select and instrumental concentration and enroll in at least one hour of instruction in his or her selected instrument each semester.  Performers include Noel Schwenk, Duane Davis, Dan Aldrich, Junar Ortega, Ray Lanich, and Brian Spence.

Musical styles will range from bluegrass to classical, Turkish folk music to rock, and will include both guitar solos and group performances. 

This event is free and open to the public.
