Edinboro’s online Master of Education program again recognized as one of the nation’s best06/26/2013
Edinboro University’s online Master of Education programs received national recognition from TheBestSchools.org, a leading higher education and career website. TheBestSchools ranked Edinboro’s program 19th on its list of the 20 best online Master of Education degree programs in the United States.
Schools were recognized based on the quality of their programs, variety of courses offered, faculty, awards won, and their place in other well-known rankings.
Edinboro’s online graduate education programs have previously been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as being among the best in the country, ranking 32nd of 208 online graduate education programs rated. In addition, a graduate nursing degree offered through a Clarion University-Edinboro University consortium was also named to U.S. News & World Report’s most recent survey, ranking 19th of 101 programs on its list of 2013 Best Online Graduate Nursing Programs.
“We are proud that the high quality of our graduate programs and the exceptional faculty in these programs are being recognized at the national level,” said Dr. Alan Biel, Dean of the Edinboro University School of Graduate Studies and Research.
The university awards the M.Ed. through online programs in the following areas: Educational Leadership, Educational Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Middle & Secondary Instruction, Reading and Special Education.
Other schools to make TheBestSchools.org’s list of best online Master of Education degree programs include Auburn University, George Washington University, Georgia Southern University, Michigan State University and West Virginia University.
