Edinboro University Players to perform ‘Bare: A Pop Opera’
March 1and 2 in historic Cole Auditorium

EDINBORO, Pa. – On Thursday and Friday, March 1 and 2, the Edinboro University Players and Company, with support from Identity, will perform “Bare: A Pop Opera.”
Directed by Christopher Rooney and Dylan Brozich, the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. both nights in Louis C. Cole Auditorium-Memorial Hall.
Created from an original book by Jon Hartmere Jr. and Damon Intrabartolo, the rock musical focuses on two gay high school students and their struggles while attending a private, Catholic boarding school.
Hartmere wrote the lyrics for the stage adaptation, and Intrabartolo provided the music. This musical first premiered in Los Angeles, California, in 2000 and since has made its rounds through the major metropolitan areas of New York, Houston, Toronto, Sydney and more.
The Edinboro performance features actors B. Barabei, Phil Thomas, Julia Tong, Brady Pivanand Alyssa Dreihaup. Supporting cast members include Haley Comodor, Ashley Delaney, Michael Guantonio, Cody Feucht, Rachel Gilbert, Krystal Foertsch, Olivia Chapman, Angela Weaver and Veronica O'Brien.
Admission is free for Edinboro University Students with IDs. General admission is $3.
