2-Nov-2011 - Continuing an ongoing and deep commitment to a “green” and highly sustainable campus, Edinboro University officials were joined by Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Michael Krancer on November 2 for a ceremonial “switch-throwing” to unveil Edinboro’s $1.16 million solar power generating system.

19-Oct-2011 - Edinboro’s Friends of the Baron-Forness Library welcomed Congressman Mike Kelly (R-3rd District) as the keynote speaker October 20 during the fund-raising organization’s “Dinner and a Book” event. The annual dinner took place at Van Houten Dining Hall South, beginning at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception and a buffet dinner at 5:45. A book raffle concluded the evening’s festivities.

The University’s annual rite of autumn, during which hundreds of alumni are welcomed back to campus and the community, was filled with myriad events for previous grads, current students and members of the community of all ages.

6-Oct-2011 - A collaboration between the Edinboro University Foundation, the Student Government Association, Residence Life, the Facilities Department, faculty and others, the “Standing Stones at the Highlands” is a tribute to the University’s and the region’s Scottish heritage, a calming aqua pool with an actual stone map of Scotland that appears to be floating in the water.
