Highlighting around 10 regional bagpipe bands, the Edinboro Bagpipe Festival featured solo bagpipe competitions, band competitions, and an evening concert culminating in a massed bands presentation.

19-May-2011 - Edinboro President Jeremy D. Brown and the University hosted “An Artistic Discovery 2011,” sponsored by U.S. Representative Kelly, who was also in attendance. The event showcased the works of art students from local high schools throughout the seven-county 3rd Congressional District.
Each year, members of the U.S. House of Representatives join together to recognize the artistic talents of America’s high school students in a nationwide art competition, with each member of the House sponsoring a local or regional contest within the individual congressional districts.

7-May-2011 - Reflecting upon decades of rich academic customs and traditions and amidst traditional pomp and circumstance, Edinboro University President Jeremy D. Brown conferred degrees upon 899 graduating students during the University’s 2011 Spring Commencement ceremony Saturday afternoon.
Parents, family members and friends, many bearing flowers and gifts for their favorite graduates, packed into McComb Fieldhouse, with the overflow crowd taking seats for the televised ceremony in the Frank G. Pogue Student Center.
