28-Apr-2011 - A public relations executive from the National Basketball Association was among the featured speakers and panelists who participated in the “Public Relations for the Public Good” conference at Edinboro University on Thursday, April 28.
Nadine Glinski, the NBA’s senior director of community relations, served as luncheon keynote speaker at the conference, which highlighted the role played by public relations professionals in generating essential civic, philanthropic and community support among the profession’s objective. Glinski discussed “NBA Cares,” the league’s global community outreach initiative that addresses social issues such as education, youth and family development, and health and wellness.
