Start College at The Porreco Center...
You'll start strong in the "College Start at Porreco" program. "CSP" is a program designed to include courses that will help you to focus on study skills development necessary to succeed in college.
You will take courses that will contribute to requirements necessary to earn an associate or even Bachelor's degree after matriculating to the main campus.
You will have access to an academic advisor and an academic mentor to help you navigate program requirements and other details.
This program is intended for students capable of commuting to The Porreco Center, or riding the ETMA bus routes for FREE as an Edinboro student!

Associate of Applied Science in Applied Technology...
This NEW associate degree program is designd to prepare workers who have already completed technical training for ground level supervisory positions within industry. Students could possibly transfer up to 27 technical credits.
Available only at The Porreco Center and our Meadville site at Parkside Commons, the AAS in Applied Technology provides coursework in essential math, business, communication and technical skills.
Additionally, the program features a special reduced fees rate, and financial aid is available. For more information contact the Admissions Office and follow this link to the Physics and Technology Department.
GED Prep Classes and Testing...
Whether you're ready to take the GED test, or want to take the preparation classes first, The Porreco Center has what you need!
The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit 5 offers GED Prep classes to improve skills necessary in language arts writing (grammar and essay), social studies, science, language arts reading and math in order to successfully pass the high school equivalency exam. The Warren/Forest Higher Education Council offers the GED Exam on a regular basis. The GED Exam costs $125, presession included. The exam includes subtests in writing, math, social studies, science and reading. The GED Exam Presession is conducted separately from the exam session and is required to complete online registration and paperwork, and to watch a video on exam procedures.
