Environmental Biology

Bachelor of Science | College of Science and Health Professions
Edinboro University

Make a difference in the world with a career in Environmental Biology.

If you enjoy being out in the field, gathering data and monitoring the conditions that impact our environment, consider our Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology program. It will prepare you for a rewarding career dealing with the relationships between plants and animals in their environments and the causes and management of environmental pollution.

Our curriculum is founded on evidence-based science. You’ll gain a fundamental knowledge of botany, zoology, genetics and ecology in lectures and labs taught by faculty members, not graduate assistants. The classes are small, so you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with faculty experts, participate in their research and present at local, regional or national meetings.

After graduation, you’ll have the skills you need to succeed in graduate school or obtain a meaningful job at environmental agencies, zoos and aquaria or private consulting firms.
