A Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Studies at Edinboro University provides you with the knowledge and communication skills to become an advocate for healthy living.

Edinboro University professors teach from theory and practice to prepare future health and wellness professionals. Graduates of the Health and Wellness Studies program will be able to plan, implement and evaluate health and wellness programs while becoming proficient in modern technology and oral and written communication skills. Additionally, students will learn the personal, social and ethical behaviors for success as a health professional.

Worksite and field experiences prepare Edinboro students for careers in public and community health education. Hands-on learning experiences in community health clinics, health departments, veterans’ affairs organizations and non-profits prepare students for continuing education at the graduate level or entering the workforce upon graduation.

Capstone experience gives you an edge.

At Edinboro, you’ll spend 600 hours for an entire semester getting hands-on experience in a setting that is aligned to your career goals. During this time, you will earn 12 credits and learn more about your chosen field. Health and Wellness Studies students have completed internships at the following locations:
