News and information bombard us every minute of the day through every type of electronic device, and it’s not about to stop. Learn how to master the creation of visual and audio information for use online, in mass media and in various information and corporate environments with a Digital Media Production degree from Edinboro University.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (2017) predicts more than 45,000 new jobs will
be available between now and 2026 for editors, photographers, technical writers and
public relations specialists who can create, edit, translate and disseminate information
for different platforms.
At Edinboro University, you'll learn audio, video, graphic and web skills that are
informed by a foundation in writing, critical analysis and creative development. Faculty
with extensive experience in the field will help you develop multiple media literacies
and narrative techniques that you can apply to all media contexts.
Before you graduate, you will complete a capstone project and amass a creative media
portfolio of work that will prepare you to succeed, whether you're working for an
online or mass media company or in the corporate world.

In addition, you can contribute to and manage all of our student media outlets, including ETV, WFSE radio and The Spectator newspaper. All three campus media organizations provide content to EdinboroNow.com, which provides enhanced media coverage throughout southern Erie County to create unique co-curricular learning opportunities for students like you.
