This affiliation, combined with Edinboro's comprehensive business curriculum, allows you to acquire the knowledge and skills that industry partners need when they consider next generation talent — those who can apply current and emerging technologies to innovate businesses and develop insights to be more competitive.
This program is carefully designed to ensure you understand business processes and how companies execute them using the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and other current and emerging technologies and methodologies.
Though you will be using SAP technologies in these courses, you will acquire highly transferable skills that translate to other enterprise technologies.
In addition to the academic curriculum, you are introduced to leading industry certifications, and may have the opportunity to participate in the 10-day SAP Certified Associate - Business Process Integration (S/4HANA) industry certification to further enhance your career opportunities.
Companies are very interested in ‘next generation talent’ who can apply next generation technologies and methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation throughout the enterprise. The Intelligent Enterprise will prepare you to actively engage in that conversation.
For starters, it ensures you understand the integration of core business processes within the SAP S/4 HANA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and how ERP integrates with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systems. From there you learn how to maintain the business and enterprise system through configuration, implement these solutions with project management skills, gain insight through analytics and innovate with digital transformation.
The Intelligent Enterprise concentration is also ideal for other business majors,
as all business professionals use enterprise systems.
In the School of Business and Economics at PennWest Edinboro, you will thrive in classes taught by faculty with professional experience who are aligned with industry needs. They will help you understand and practice business processes, enterprise systems, current and emerging technologies, business analytics, project management and much more.
